Experience

I can never quite tell if I should write you about things like this... it's a bit like saying “I almost got you such-and-such thing for your birthday...” I dunno. Perhaps it is different since it's telling you about an experience I would love to share with you...

Well. We went to a... thing today. Art installation? Narrative experience? I suppose if I had a moment I could look it up and figure out what the heck people are calling it...

Anyways, it was wild. A bit trippy. A lot sci-fi influenced. Weird, in the best ways. I got a hat. And a t-shirt. There is a story, if you spend the time to explore it. Lots of interactive elements. Very fun, even if you don't bother with the story (we didn't).

But I can just imagine taking an afternoon with you - leave the kids, even though they'd enjoy it, too - and just really dive deep into it. Figure out the lore. Answer the phone when it calls back after you leave a voice mail on a particular extension...

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but the whole entire time, I couldn't stop thinking “my ⭐️ would totally dig this.”

One way or the other, I would absolutely enjoy exploring it with you.

(And not just the parts that involve crawling through tunnels, which being the gentleman I am I would totes let you go first for... ahem)

And I'm pretty sure you and I? We could unravel that mystery together.

Um. There are also a handful of surpsingly steep stairs to go down... maybe I'd actually get my chance to catch you? Seems like a pretty good excuse to hold you in my arms...

Well. It's a pretty sophisticated exhibit. I imagine it'll be around for a while... so. Maybe. One day. 🤞
