Thinking of You

I tried and tried to come up with something to send your way today, to let you know I'm thinking of you (just in case you're ever wondering… I'm always thinking of you…). Started the day super early, figuring surely there was something I could take a photo of and send to you… And before it was time to dig into work, I did find some giant mushroom sculpture, which… well… I know you like the real things, but I gotta be honest… the sculpture was “mid”. So then I wandered around down by the river to see if maybe some amphibian friends were out and about… No luck with that, though I did find some turtles… do you like turtles, too?

Or, I mean… can I just say “Hey there, thinking of you…”?

It'd only be the truth.

Well. I think we're edging toward that, but I feel like we still need some excuse… if not for each other, than for anyone else who might be around at the time and spot it. Are you alone right now? I have no way to know… And now it's getting late…

Of course, if I happen to be on in the middle of the night and you happen to hit “like” on a 7 year old photo of mine, well, that might just embolden me to message you regardless, lol.

Ah, well… how about this? I know it's not the same, but… how about I post one of those videos you said you like and always watch? It's less directed, but… I mean… surely you have some idea that I post those for you.

And, I mean… whether they were intended for me or not, all of those videos you were posting of yourself over the past few months… well. I've thoroughly enjoyed those, every single one of them. So… same for you? Maybe? You did tell me you watch all of them.

Well, anyways… a bit ramble-y tonight so I guess this is it for now… Love you, my sweet love. Gonna need to see you. Soon.
