I dreamed a whole entire video game boss battle, complete with multiple phases and all that, lol.

The dream was very clearly a video game that I was either playing or watching. There wasn't any TV or screen or anything, but it was flat (but 3d, yeah I know, makes no sense), and there was a character who felt like “me” running around in front of me. It was in a forest. We wandered around for a bit, when all of a sudden a giant shadow appeared, towering over us, the “camera” moving down and angling up to really show how tall this thing was. When the shadow was “normal,” it had a vaguely witch-like shape, tall and skinny with a pointy hat. But, it would shape-shift, turning into a spiky pillar before a shadow tentacle would come crashing down from above, trying to smash the protagonist. The protagonist, for his part, kept throwing rocks at the shadow while dodging the tentacles.

Eventually, the shadow's shape changed again, this time into more of an amorphous blob. The tentacles remained, but instead of crashing down from above, they were flailing about. Dodging them became trickier. Every now and then, a tentacle would snatch a rock the protagonist had thrown out of the air and throw it back at him. The protagonist persisted, dodging and throwing rocks. Each time one would actually hit the shadow, it would shrink a little bit.

Eventually, the attacks stopped, and the surrounding forest brightened. And as it got brighter, the shadow, which at this point was a still a blobby mass, gradually started gaining color, until it turned out to be made up of the seven dwarves from Disney's Snow White piled up on top of each other, and they all had kind of sheepish looks on their faces. And as they started to separate, climbing down off of each other, the dream ended.

So. Um. Yeah, I have no idea, lol.
