I've debated with myself all morning about whether to say anything or not, for reasons you can probably work out easily enough… And I dunno, maybe this is a mistake, but I just…

You are such a vibrant and beautiful person, and your excitement should be celebrated, always… But that's all I'll say about that side of things.

But when you texted me yesterday telling me to wait up, and I turned around… the first thing I thought when I saw you was… well, the very first thing I thought was “awwww, there she is 🥰”, but I think that every time I see you. But the second thing I thought was “Oh, my gosh, those have got to be about the cutest pants I have ever seen…”

And I got to tell you that.

I mean, I tempered it a bit, but still…

And then I got to see that pleased look on your face afterwards… Gosh, your smile is always just about bright as the sun, but I swear it turned up a few degrees just then………

Look. I always want to compliment you. I always want to tell you how beautiful you are and how nice the clothes you're wearing are and how lovely you are with or without your makeup and all the rest of it… I mean, when I'm free to, you are probably going to get sick and tired of being called “beautiful” as often as I intend to…

But right now… between the various constraints put on me, or my own upbringing, or whatever… it's just not often at all that I have the opportunity to, and when I do I have to push past whatever stupid mental blocks I have in place. So… yeah, you seemed pleased as punch that I told you the pants were cute, but I was pleased, too. I'm proud of myself, silly as that probably is, lol. And I'm so glad that I got to be one of the many people who hopefully made your afternoon so much better than it might otherwise have been.

I love you, babe. Can't wait to see you break those pants out again… or ones like it, if you ever do find the time to make more, as you suggested you might…
