Oh, babe, how I miss you. I know I'm the one who's gone right now, but still… I wish you were here with me. Or I was there with you. Or we were together someplace else entirely… Just, gosh… I long for your voice, for the look in your eyes, for you.

Do you remember? We've known each other for so long, even if for most of that time we were on each other's periphery. Weeks used to go by, sometimes months, where we wouldn't see or hear from each other. And it was just… normal. Oh, don't get me wrong, you've been filling me with a glow since the day we met, but… Now, we're each gone for just a few days, off on our own adventures, and it feels like an eternity…

Well, I'll be home tomorrow. Late, but home. And maybe, just maybe the weather and our schedules will cooperate and we'll get a nice walk in soon… looking forward to it, babe!
