Art Project

I know I said I liked your art project, but in truth I loved it. Just, you know… can't gush too much in front of a crowd. I'll be sure to take a closer look next time I'm over, maybe with a few fewer people to care about how much interest I'm taking…

But it's remarkable to me, really, your ability to start with a vision, and then bring it into reality… even if there were some frustrations along the way. Not to mention that aside from the colors, which I couldn't have possibly guessed at, the basic idea with the shapes and the blocks is exactly as I pictured it when you first described it to me months ago. Long before you had conjured it into the real world, you were conjuring it into my mind… no small feat, given my barely-functional mind's eye…

I think that's just a feature of our connection though, babe, or maybe you're just particularly good at bringing me along with your daydreams and visions… Heck, I can close my eyes right now and see you, just as clear as day, leaning against the hood of that beautiful classic car, chatting away at anyone and everyone who happens to wander over…

(you know I love that about you, too, right? I was second guessing myself every moment from when I handed that card over the other night until you chose it as your favorite, for fear it might be taken the wrong way. But in truth that was sorta a tiny little love letter, just for you, to float right under everyone's noses… but anyhow…)

Hmmmm… makes me wonder what other projects you might be cooking up. Oh, I know… you've been busy, just like me… But even if they're just the germs of ideas simmering along on the back-burner in your head…

Well. Projects, daydreams, whatever… if it's the product of that incredible mind of yours, then I will always love to hear about it. Anything and everything you care to share. Conjure up some images in my head, baby — I am here for it.

And, gosh… if there are ever any projects I can ever help with… In any way. Any way. At all. Mm.
