Vulnerability

Just a quick note this morning…

I just wanted to say, I see the way you've been gradually opening up more to me, allowing yourself to be vulnerable with me… you venting the other day about work, and other things besides… and I just want you to know that I appreciate it. That I see how much of yourself you're putting on the line. That I know it may not be easy, that sometimes it might be a bit scary — sometimes more than a bit — and that it often involves an awful lot of trust.

Well, I aim to earn that trust. To make it easy. I want to be your safe space — can be — am. I will never judge. I can think of precious little that could ever darken my thoughts of you. And heck, depending on what it is, you may very well find that I'll gleefully hop on for the ride.

So thank you, my love. I hope to see so much more of you in 2025. And if you want it, I'll let you see more of me, too.
