Already Missin' You

Aw, baby… zero hour is almost here and I've finally got a moment to sit and relax for a little while before heading to the airport…

Babe, I knew this past week couldn't last… I know about the thing you've got going on, and you know all I'm dealing with. And for the time being, anyways, sometimes life's just… not gonna allow it. But, babe… yeah, we're both obviously allowed to live our lives and do the things we gotta do (or even sometimes wanna do), but I'm also allowed to miss the ever loving fuck out of you the first day I don't get to spend time with you in a week.

Well. Silver linings, I guess? I've been wanting to invite you to come spend time in my basement for ages now. But it's been far too messy, far too embarrassing. But it's almost clean now. Almost finished. So, maybe soon? I've got a collection I wanna share with you that I'd probably be too embarrassed to show to anyone other than you (come on guys, I'm talking about Legos here, I dunno what y'all thought I was talking about!). And, I mean… sitting next to you on the sofa is gonna be one of my all-time favorite pastimes, when we get there, but sitting next to you at my bar wouldn't be so bad, either, yah? Maybe come up with some new mixers with the pathfinder. I haven't tried it with my cocktail smoker yet…

And, babe. This'll be going with the old man when his name comes up, but right now I'm sitting in this heated massaging recliner and… oh. After all the flooring work this week… I think I might just melt into it right now…

Ah, but alas. Gotta head to the airport soon. sigh. Well. Hope your thing went good, and hope your favors were a hit!

Tomorrow is gonna be a very different day, babe. And I couldn't begin to predict how it's gonna go… But. We do what we gotta to do for family, right?
