So Long Reddit, and Thanks for All the Fish

Well, friends. I think the time has come for me to leave this place behind — at least as a writer.

Oh, my love and I still have many steps to take before we’re truly together… but this phase of the journey feels like it’s come to a close.

Thank you — truly — for every kind word, every bit of encouragement, every quiet nod. You’ve helped me more than you know.

But don’t worry about me.

My person and I will be taking many long walks through our own little garden — one lined with creeping phlox and peonies and whatever else her heart desires.

And maybe… just maybe… I’ll show up again one day, to let you know we’ve made it to the next next phase — the one where I get to hold her, every night, for the rest of our lives.

In the meantime… I’ll be quiet. But not gone.
