Journey

Jun 15, 2025

Oh, babe.

I am so excited to be part of this journey with you.
Even just watching from the sidelines would be an honor…
But to be invited along for the ride?

I’m touched.
You have no idea.

But baby, you’re further along in understanding than I am. I’m still learning.
So I might stumble, say the wrong thing sometimes.

But it will never—ever—be meant to hurt you.
All I want is to love you.
To make you feel safe, seen, and warm.

So here’s something I picked up from supporting my kiddo, just in case it’s helpful: it’s called “Oops / Ouch.”

It’s just a way to hold space for mistakes in a relationship built on care.
If I catch myself saying something off? I say "Oops."
If I don’t catch it and it stings, you say "Ouch," and I follow that with "Oops."

No shame, no dragging it out—just acknowledgement, care, and a promise to do better.

Maybe you’ve heard of it before. Maybe not. But I’m here to learn with you.
To listen. To grow. To show you—again and again—that I love every part of you.

I can only imagine how long this has been swirling around inside you, but maybe navigating it openly is new. It is to me, too.

But baby? I’m here.
In any way you want me.
And I cannot wait to see you in full bloom…
Whatever that ends up meaning.

Love you.
Yours.
